Paper clay, forms, textiles, embellishments, paints, sculpting tools, & hardware
In this workshop you will be learning the art of paper clay, sculpting and molding techniques. The Paper Crown Gurlie is inspired by The Paper Crown Store and her owner Cindy Winters. I felt inspired to create a little gurlie, all made up of paper and vintage embellishments!
She measure at 10” tall, fully jointed and is all hand sculpted, painted, antiqued, clothed from her crushed glass paper crown to the tips of her ruffled socks and bow tied Mary Jane's.
Students are responsible for the following:
Glue gun, any adhesives, scissors, bling that you may want to use on your gurlie, apron, & comfortable clothing due to the length of class.
This will be a class you definitely won’t want to miss!

I must to pay tribute to a really spectacular person as well as a very talented artist Jenny Hernandez of Polka Dot Pixie, it is because of her  that I fell in love with this particular medium but Crepe Paper still takes 1st place in my heart!!! Go by her blog you will see why Paper Clay  and The Polka Dot Pixie is so fabulous!!!

Oh please, please come to Arizona and teach this class! She is absolutely darling. I have taken a class from the Polka Dot Pixie too but haven't made anything in paper clay since. Love your creations.
